Dear SJF Families, It is hard to believe that we are approaching the second week of February. Our awesome 8th graders are making their Confirmation this upcoming Sunday, February 9th. Please join us in praying that our Confirmation candidates are graced with the gifts of the Holy Spirit this weekend and always. These impressive young men and women have been preparing for this sacrament for the past 2 years and are eager to experience this rite of passage in our Catholic faith.

Dear SJF Families, We are so eager to celebrate our Catholic School and Parish Community this week! Catholic Schools Week kicks off tonight with Conner T. Lowry Night in the Gym at 5pm. We will properly thank the CTL Foundation and Conner’s family for their generous donation to make much needed improvements to our gym in Conner’s honor. Our celebration continues tomorrow and throughout the week.

This week our students learned about the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King was a staunch supporter of equal rights, human rights, peace and education. He said, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”​
