    Dear SJF Families, Happy St. Paddy’s Day weekend! Today the St. Patrick’s Day spirit was alive and well in the building as we were graced with the performance of the accomplished Dennehy Irish Dancers. There is nothing like Irish dancers and Irish music to put you in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day and the South Side Irish Parade weekend. Our celebration continues. Please feel free to join us this Sunday as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with our Irish mass at 9:15 a.m.

    Dear SJF Families, There is never a dull moment here at SJF. Today proved to be no different as we had an unexpected gas issue. Many of our teachers and staff members reported smelling gas in the school building. We immediately contacted People’s Gas, the Chicago Fire Department and Chicago Police Department for assistance with this matter, and out of an abundance of caution, evacuated our students from the school building.

    Dear SJF Families, Thank you so much for the incredible outpouring of support that you showed for the “Get Behind the Vest” pancake breakfast. There were so many parents, students, teachers and staff who not only were patrons at the event but volunteered their time as well. This incredible cause was extremely successful as a result of all of you. What an amazing community we live in!
