First Communion Commissioning Mass Sunday, October 21st at 10:00 a.m. All second graders and their families are invited to gather for 10:00 a.m. mass on Sunday, October 21st to formally start First Communion preparation. The children and their families will sit together near the front of church as a group. The children will be introduced to the parishioners, who will begin praying for them. Duck Derby

St. John Fisher School is pleased to announce that we will be partnering with the Mt. Greenwood Special Rec Program and the Special Olympics in their annual Duck Derby. On Monday, 9/24, representatives will present to the kids during our three lunch periods, and students will be able to "adopt" a numbered rubber ducky for $5. In April 2018, elementary schools across the Archdiocese of Chicago administered the ACT Aspire summative test for the third time to all students in grades 3-8. The ACT Aspire assesses students’ academic proficiency in five academic areas: English, Reading, Math, Science and Writing.

9/11 Memorial

Dear SJF Parents, Congratulations! SJF was pleased to partner with Alderman O’Shea’s office in an effort to contribute to the 9/11 Memorial at Lockhart Park. SJF homerooms collected over $2000.
