Dear SJF Families, We had a wonderful week at SJF! Though we are almost half-way through our third trimester we have never taken for granted how fortunate we are to be learning in-person. As I have stated each week, our success is a direct result of our strong partnership with all of you. Unfortunately, there seems to be an uptick in COVID cases in our city and neighborhood.

Dear SJF Families, Welcome back! I hope you along with your families and loved ones had a peaceful and fun Easter Break! It is wonderful to have the kids back with us and we are eager to successfully tackle these last 8 weeks of school together. Dear SJF Families, Well, we made it to Spring Break which allows us to press re-set as we plan our to-do’s in order to finish the last 2 months of this unprecedented school year triumphantly! Our Falcons worked hard this Lenten Season at becoming the BEST version of themselves and we are so very proud of each of them. Together we enjoyed learning about, preparing for and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus during this Easter Season.

Notes from Mrs. Nash, 3.19.21

Dear SJF Families, This week SJF celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and St. Joseph’s Day. Traditionally at SJF, our third graders perform the story of St. Patrick at morning mass before the South Side Irish Parade. Last year, our third graders practiced so hard for this big performance, only to have it cancelled because of COVID. This year, our now fourth graders received a “do-over”.
